After your day at the beach, end your day here as well, with a tropical drink in hand as the setting sun turns the sky a brilliant orange.

In the living room, floor-to-ceiling sliding glass doors allow for the natural sunlight to perfectly decorate and enhance the interior. Beach-inspired fabrics, paintings, and décor are reminiscent of all of the comforts of the beach across the street. To top it all off, the towering tropical trees and garden are your constant backdrop as you relax in the comfort of the living room or enjoy a meal at the dining room table.

The bright summer kitchen, with its barstool-lined countertop, comes fully stocked with all of the modern appliances and cookware that you need to make the perfect meal to enjoy on the glass dining room table or balcony.

As you begin to wind down, both bedrooms come with televisions, ample closet and drawer space, and windows, so that you can fall asleep to the tropical garden breezes. The master bedroom, in particular, features an en suite bathroom with his-and-her sinks and a glass-enclosed shower for maximal comfort.

The unit comes with comfort-enhancing amenities, including air conditioning and heating, ceiling fans, free wi-fi, cable, linens, towels, and a washer and dryer. It also gives you beach essentials like beach towels, beach chairs, cooler, and umbrella for that short walk across the street to the silken sands and turquoise waters of South Beach, where the activities never end. Stroll along the shore collecting shells. Snorkel in the warm shallow water or just sit back and watch dolphins playing in the surf.

You’re also just a short walk from the movie theatres and restaurants of Marco Walk Plaza, and from Marco Golf and Garden, a miniature golf course in the midst of an award-winning garden.

You can have the time of your life without leaving the grounds of the Essex. Take a swim in the heated pool then relax on one of the sun loungers. Play some tennis or stroll along paths that wind through tree-lined gardens.
