Apollo 202

Amazing location with an incredible view of the sunsets. Unfortunately there was some construction going on in units above us, which created a lot of dust, debris and noise on our balcony and at pool area. We truly enjoyed Marco island, felt very safe, great restaurants and places to have a drink or two over looking the water.

While the unit was only 500 square feet, it served our purpose well as we were rarely in the unit except for late nights. The staff were respectful and attentive and the surrounding town
Of Marco Island was well maintained. The freezer ran at a constant high and froze even the ice. If you’re looking to cook in the unit, it was difficult as it took roughly 10 minutes for the burner to heat my oil. I’d bring your own pan if possible. I liked having an onsite restaurant that overlooked the ocean. I highly recommend dinner at nearby Sale Pepe.

We enjoyed staying at this condo. The building/unit is a bit dated, but the furniture is nice and everything is clean. The location and price make up for this. Beautiful view of the gulf from the huge lanai. Walk to bars and restaurants.

Clean unit right on the beach. Super easy to navigate. Sports bar right downstairs was a plus. Sunsets from balcony were unreal!!

Loved the location of the property and was very pleased with the room. Planning to book one of the higher-up rooms, to improve the view, for 2025.

The condo was nice. Staff were helpful and friendly. The coffee maker didn’t work so I sent a text message ( not exit to be answered until normal business hours) and I received a response that a new coffee maker would be delivered in the morning. And yes a new coffee maker was delivered the next morning. Exceptional service even though this was Christmas holiday week. The Sunset grill was closed due to the holiday so we did not get to try it out. I would recommend staying at the Apollo!

Very nice condo for a couple. Has a nice large patio/balcony, with a beautiful view of the beach and ocean.
Already recommended to a couple friends.

We really enjoyed the condo the location was great and easy to access the beach. The only negative during our stay was the staging area for the beach repair being located right outside.

The unit was beautiful. The rental company was so accommodating. Every sunset was beautiful right from our balcony. Can't wait for next year!

The location was fantastic, the one draw-back was the bar immediately below the unit which got very boisterous and at times profane language. The view was amazing, breakfast on the patio, cocktails at night. The unit was not as clean as it could have been but satisfactory. The staff was helpful, and attentive to all our needs. Would definitely book again.

Init needs a little upgrading. They should remove the chair in the bedroom. The king size bed in the bedroom takes up a lot of room and the chair makes it very cramped. Need to get new beach towels. The beach umbrella needs to be replaced. Hard to get corkscrew in the sand. Sliding door needs to be replaced. Bathroom could use a paint job. Especially the molding.

Great view, several updates inside the unit and stocked well for 2 people. Nice beach chairs and umbrellas which is hard to keep up with as a property owner I can imagine!

Rented 202 in the apoolo

We have stayed at the Apollo Condos for 2 years in a row now for our annual vacation. Andrew Vale and his fantastic staff make everything easy and are so helpful and kind. It is a reasonable price, has a great location, and has a cute little setup. You can swim in the pool or walk right out on the beach and into the ocean. If you don't feel like going anywhere, no worries! Sunset Grill is located on the entry level with outside seating right on the beach! Oh and I forgot to mention: everyone goes out onto their balconies or on the beach each evening to watch the sunset, and then they clap when it's complete! Gorgeous views and an all-around great experience. It was awesome!

Amazing sunsets, it felt as if we could just touch the sky. Tranquility that you have to experience as it is difficult to describe to the imagination. This area so for the couples or family that want to get away from normal Florida. It is your Caribbean destination in Florida.

Gulf front studio condo second floor large balcony. Solid privacy wall obstructs ocean view if eating at outdoor table which we appreciated the privacy. Clean, well stocked kitchen, newly tiled bath. Loved our stay here, wonderful sunsets. Only down side is the sofa bed mattress needs to be replaced, to thin unable to sleep on it. Great restaurant blocks away, location was perfect!! Enjoyed the market was well, don’t miss it.

We arrived to a very clean apt. It had everything we needed for our stay. The building itself is a bit dated but the apt is lovely. Everyone comes out front on the beach to see the sunset as there is a public access entrance to the left and nice to see people clap when the sunsets. There are beautiful sea shells all over the beach.

We absolutely loved it here. The Marco Island Vacation Properties people were amazing. As we drove into Marco Island, it was reminiscent of the Bahamas. It was a small-town feel, with plenty of restaurants and such, while also making you feel safe to walk at night. It was paradise!

The unit has everything we needed for a 4 day/3 night stay. It was comfortable and functional. The building is older and we did have some tiny ants we saw on countertops and bathroom vanity. It wasn't a huge deal, but worth noting. The Sunset grill is right below the building, closed for the season though. Everywhere we ate, was on the north side of the island, could not find anything down by us.

This was the first vacation my husband and I have ever taken alone in 20 years and it was perfect!! The decor was great, the bed was super comfortable, and we loved spending time out on the deck. The view was amazing even thought we missed out on seeing any sunsets because of the overcast weather. Kitchen seemed fully functional, but we opted not to do any cooking for the weekend. Our fist day, we walked to tigertail beach (a must see) but underestimated the power of the sun on a cloudy day. We FRIED!! The pool was warm but we spent most our time on the beach. The only issue we had was that we didn't realize we had to pick our keys up from a different location. Luckily it was only a couple of blocks away and the gals there were super nice and helpful with lots of suggestions on what to see. We will definitely be back!

The location was great and the condo was great, however when we arrived at 4:00 they were still cleaning the condo which lasted until 6:00. Disappointing because it was supposed to be ready at 3:00. We just drove 16 hours with tons of luggage and two kids with nothing to do but stand around for two hours. The staff contacted me that day to let me know they would refund the $120 cleaning fee, but they haven’t done so yet and that was 9 days ago.

We had a great week on Marco Island. Beach walks in the morning and kayaking in the afternoon. Unit #202 at the Apollo's redeeming feature is the large balcony. While the floor tile, kitchen, and bath have been remodelled, I would describe the unit as "tired'. Some of the furniture pieces need to be replaced and other elements show their age. The unit is on the smaller side. It is a great location and it worked out fine for the two of us.

Couldn't find the office which is offsite rude person to help then even ruder people once we were at our condo. Apparently renters are lower life than residents. Fruit flies in the bedroom, we couldn't find the source, perhaps the Bridgertons had been there. Small, super small, miniscule kitchen (you're not meant to cook). Did I mention the rudeness of the condo staff? And the rental company inundating us with emails. Good grief, leave me alone.

The 2nd floor units have larger balconies and easier access (option of stairs or elevator) from the beach. 202 is beautifully updated with nice decor and finishes. Kitchen was small but functional. Walking distance to shops and restaurants. Would recommend to others!

Everything is easy to do, from booking to checking out! We love staying at the Apollo and the 202 was set up well and was very comfortable. There is nothing better then watching the dolphins, the sunset and even the moonset from this beach front condo!

The Apollo is a very good location on the Island, close to beach, gulf view, and next to the Sunset Grill on South Beach. The condos are older but have separate lanais. The condo we were in was clean and very sufficient for our stay.

...just come to Marco. Thanks to Marco Island Vacation Properties this is our 25th year of coming here for one our one weeks vacation from cells, laptops, and work. We shut it all down and enjoyed our stay at the Apollo. Walks on the beach (Apollo to Tigertail is approx 3 miles each way of great shelling and exercise), beautiful pool, love the balcony as a lookout for pelicans, ospreys, dolphins etc. Great restaurants to walk to, drive to or sit on your balcony with a sandwich and beer to watch the sunset.
If you feel blessed at the end of the day that my friend is a relaxation.

The condo was nicely updated. However the trim and entry doors should have been replaced too. The entry door looked very used. The entire building required keys and lacked new keypads.

Wahers and dryers were available on every floor. That's a nice touch when you're trying to pack light.

The view was spectacular. I was concerned that the restaurant under our room would be noisy. It was not a problem at all. It was fun watching the beach and the sunsets and weather were fabulous.

The rental was as it was described right on the beach. The unit was clean, provided all our needs and truly was a great mini vacation. The only negative was the use of keys for everything( elevator, front sliders etc). Definitely would come back to Marco and even stay in Apollo 202 again.

By far the best bang for the buck in one of the quietest, most secluded far southern areas of Florida.
The only place in S. Florida where you don't feel you live in Mexico. Most of the populous still speak English here.

He quickly responds to emails and is always ready to accommodate special requests. The condo is clean and the location on the beachfront is unbeatable. We love "our" condo and working with Marco Vaca Properties!

The view from the balcony is hard to beat. The balcony faces west so eventually the sun reaches every part of it. That's good on a cooler day not so good when its hot. The pool area is clean, however the hours are not early in the morning and its shutting down early at night. Security is very good, everything requires a key, even the elevator. Tv system is a bit complicated with limited instructions. Toilet had issues (very slow re-fill) that they said they would check on. No oven, 2 hot cooking coils, very little food preparation space. Furniture and bed were comfortable. Balcony does not have privacy walls, people to your left, right, and above can see you. Cost is very competitive. Can not see beach if you are not standing or sitting on high stools due to the front solid wall on the balcony instead of an open fence type wall. Beach was very clean.

The rental property staff was great, although they had an extensive contract. The unit was very nicely furnished and clean. The balcony was large and nice, though the second floor balcony had a short wall instead of a railing, blocking much of the view when seated on standard chairs inside. The beach is very nice, long and wide, with a gentle sloping bottom. It is close to a public access, so it can get crowded. Bring shoes to walk the beach, as a good shelling beach is not necessarily good for barefoot walking.

Relaxing beach days!

Apollo 202 was the perfect spot for a quick get-away to Marco Island. The condominium complex is waterfront, it included everything one needs including a VERY COMFORTABLE bed (which is mandatory for us), beach chairs, umbrellas, toys for kids if necessary. The staff is receptive and kind, the room was immaculate and the Sunset Grill located on the bottom floor was so convenient with great food. The condo is walking distance to other eateries as well. Everything was perfect!
