The waterways converge behind the patio, creating a vast expanse of still blue water lined with palm trees. It’s difficult to imagine a better place to take in the view than floating in the heated pool at the edge of the patio, or enjoying a poolside barbeque you cook up on the gas grill.

Does your bucket list include reclining in a hot tub with a tropical blended drink as the setting sun casts palm tree shadows on the still water below? Then check it off because this will become your nightly ritual.

The southeast exposure means all-day sun. You’ll never want to go inside, and the pool area is furnished accordingly, with tables and chairs and sun loungers spread throughout the patio, creating your own tropical resort. There’s even a table on the wooden dock. You won’t be sitting there long before you spot a passing dolphin or manatee.

But when you do go inside, you’ll never want to come out. Floor-to-ceiling windows brighten the rooms with natural light. Shelves of ceramic sculptures fill arched wall cutouts above the modern furnishings. The tree-lined water is the constant backdrop as you entertain in the living room or prepare meals in a gourmet kitchen that features modern appliances and cookware and an island with two levels of granite countertops.

The master suite is designed with hard wood flooring and sliding door access to the patio. The ensuite bathroom comes with a walk-in shower and bathtub beside a French window overlooking thick clusters of palms.

This house is filled with amenities like air conditioning and heating, ceiling fans, free wi-fi, cable, televisions in all the bedrooms and living room, a Sonos sound system and a washer and dryer. The house also comes with bicycles, kayaks, beach towels, beach cart, beach chairs, cooler and umbrella.

Words really can’t do the experience justice. Neither can photos. The only way to understand the true magic of this place is to come visit.
