1838 Apataki Court

The management team was great. They offered text messages to remind you of things and they were very responsive when it came to answering questions or providing missing items. The property was not very clean, especially when the sun was out! In 20 years of renting in Marco, I have never come across a property that was so ill equipped. There were new appliances however, the icemaker was not hooked up nor was the range overhead exhaust/light. The brick work at the front of the house and entire patio was uneven so we had to be extremely careful. The furniture had rips, we didn’t even sit on them and the king size mattress was the most uncomfortable mattress we’ve ever slept on. The location and weather were both beautiful! However, the property really needs some updates and TLC!

As always, Marco Island Vacation Properties is excellent at quickly responding and resolving any concerns. The property has a great view of the waterway from the lanai. but it needs some TLC. However, that didn't interfere with us having a great time in Marco Island.

House was in a good location! Short bike ride to a nice park. House was clean and layout was nice. Pool was heated, which was nice during the early spring visit. Rental Management Staff was extremely helpful and quick to respond to my WiFi inquiry!

Overall, the house was great. It is a nice floor plan and worked nicely.

There was no broom, no sponge/scouring pad which was odd.

The appliances are all very nice and clean. Everything worked very well. No problems with anything whatsoever.

The only drawback, and it's nothing about the house or the owners or the management - is the location if you are a boater.

It is a long trip up to the Jolley bridge. It's only long because idle speed/no wake is required. That got boring really quickly.

I recommend thee house anyway.

We had our dog at this house and it's great for travelers who want to bring the puppy. It's clean, bright, great views, close to everything you want to do. Bikes were great to have. Pool is very clean, but the mulch sometimes got in it that is on the back side of the pool. The beds were comfortable and clean. The kitchen was better stocked with cooking/eating supplies than some houses I've stayed in. Has a nice large refrigerator and a wine fridge. The dishwasher works fine. The stove works fine. The grill outside was used nearly everyday but I had to hand-light the outer two burners. The washer and dryer worked great. The dryer had a mechanical issue but the rental company quickly responded and it was fixed the same day. The central air works very well. All of the tvs in the house worked very well, too, with basic cable channels (no premiums, which some owners give you). It's a nice block, with nice neighbors. Walked our dog outside all the time and everyone was friendly.

Our stay was nothing short of the most magical memorable weekend of our first stay in marco ! The home had everything we needed, very clean, completely stocked, on the water with pool, bikes, 2 miles from beach, what else could you ask for! We we’re blown away and couldn’t have asked for a better match , thanks so much, we’ll be visiting again soon !

It was a girls trip and we had a wonderful time. Although we didn’t have the best weather, with record lows during our stay, it didn’t keep us from enjoying our time!

We had a great experience while in Marco island. It was our first time visiting and would def rent this home again. Everything was maintained beautifully. Very clean, well stocked with everything we needed and kid friendly for our three little ones!

Disappointed upon arrival:garage full of old furniture so could not use garage;4 new bikes but 5 flat tires; beach chairs were old/worn; unusable pots and pans as tfal coating was scraped off;underwater pool light broken and lying on pool deck; a number of broken pavers around the pool; old spices and condiments left in cabinet over oven. We felt the home was not ready for renters.
The property management was terrific as they responded to all of our issues promptly. Furniture was removed from garage, tires were pumped up, 2 new beach chairs were delivered and pool light was repaired, a new set of pots and pans were delivered. The owner also responded by providing a tire pump and 2 additional new beach chairs.

Perfect in every way. Great location, clean space and great amenities. Good communication with host. A definite place to revisit for me.

Despite a few minor issues in check in, we couldn't have asked for a better rental home, owner and management staff. Every detail from equal/Splenda to toilet paper, wash cloths, towels, bikes, keurig coffee and hot chocolate pods....I could keep going. It was an unbelievable house, even the pull out queen sofa bed was a high quality mattress. The house was clean and well maintained. To be honest, the few minor issues didn't even compare to all of the positive things. It was one of the best vacations, my family has experienced. Kudos to the owner, as well as the management company. We will definitely be staying again and will let everyone we know how amazing our experience was.

House was clean and attractive. Rental company responded quickly to concerns. Kitchen and baths stocked well with towels and dishes. Main issues were stench in laundry room, glazed tiles on shower floors, steps in back were in disrepair

Just a beautiful home! We really enjoyed our stay. The check-in team was quick, happy and ready for us to pu keys at 3PM. Modern & very comfortable furnishings. We did have small issues with all the batteries being dead, we replaced some and a very nice handi- man came to replace others. The house does need a little more TLC, including spraying for annoying little brown ants, but otherwise pretty clean. Large walk-in closet perfect for all our clothes, lots of towels provided. Especially thankful for everyday items in kitchen (spices,detergents, etc) left by others & we replaced what we used. Grill was great. Dishwasher does not clean food off dishes, so we scrubbed offb before-hand. Pool was great,& we made friends w/a little salamander that makes his home by the pool. Lots of birds,fish & we watched a mother & baby manatee right from the dock. We rode the bikes provided in the quiet neighborhood and really enjoyed our stay in this home. I would recommend, management needs to tend to a few things to make this home just perfect for renters. Great location.

Yard is terrible and House was dirty when we got there. Cleaning people showed up at 4:30 after we already just went ahead and did it ourselves to save the hassle. Ants were bad by the pool the first day we got there. I get Florida has bugs but ants can be maintained. AC went out...that happens, but the old man who came to help wasnt pleasant and or communicating very well and tried to do it himself for a couple hours before calling for help. All that aside, the house would have been perfect and the lady who I spoke to over the phone prior to arriving was extremely pleasant and helpful.
