It doesn’t tell you how this tropical paradise makes the ideal setting for family gatherings, romantic getaways, weddings, meetings, or for anyone who’s always dreamed of walking along miles of sun-washed white sand beaches. People come to Marco Island for total relaxation, endless adventure, and fine dining made even finer by the brilliant orange backdrop of the setting sun. Marco Island is the largest of Florida’s ten thousand islands, and it’s filled with ten thousand activities: take a parasailing cruise and float high above the ocean; charter a fishing boat; and, wade through warm tide pools searching for shells. If total relaxation is more your style, lay back on beaches of sugar white sand and do nothing but listen to breaking waves backed by a chorus of seagulls. A short ride takes you to Naples, the other gem of the Paradise Coast, where you’ll find beaches with full facilities as well as secluded beaches for long walks on deserted sands. Another short ride takes you to the Everglades, where you can go exploring on jet ski or swamp buggy tours that take you to the mangrove habitat of the elusive manatee. When you visit here, you’ll come to know the unique Marco Island way of life – unhurried, gracious, and always eager to introduce visitors to our one-of-a-kind tropical paradise.
