Welcome to the perfect home for water lovers and dog lovers. This 1,700 square foot waterfront home sleeps eight, with one king bed, one queen, one bunk bed and two bathrooms.
The lanai overlooks a sparkling waterway lined with palm trees, and there’s no better place to enjoy that view than floating in the spacious heated pool or lying on a sun lounger alongside the rustling palms. When it’s time for lunch, fire up the gas grill and cook up a poolside barbeque.
Tropical color meets stylish comfort in the striking interior. Sunlight through shuttered windows brightens spacious, white-tiled rooms. The seaside décor of whale sculptures, seahorses, anchors, and starfish creates the easygoing feel of life on the Island.
The kitchen makes cooking a joy. It features a recessed ceiling and comes filled with all the modern appliances and cookware you need. One of the appliances is a blender, and Marco Island blenders specialize in creating tropical drinks for sitting on the lanai as the setting sun paints the sky shades of orange.
The bedrooms feature televisions along with ample closet and drawer space. The master bedroom opens up to the lanai so you’ll fall asleep to fragrant breezes off the water and the sound of rustling palms.
No comfort or convenience is overlooked in this home. You’ve got air conditioning and heating, ceiling fans, free wi-fi, cable, a big screen television in the living room, and a washer and dryer.
On Marco Island, you’re surrounded by miles of warm sands, turquoise waters and majestic sunsets, so the home comes with everything you need for the beach, including an umbrella, beach chairs and cooler. One of Marco Island’s most popular family attractions, Mackle Park, is just a short walk from the house. It’s filled with covered basketball courts, volleyball, shuffleboard, tetherball, a soccer field, and for the younger kids, a splashpad and an enormous jungle gym in a pirate ship-themed playground. Inside the community center, you’ll find two billiards tables, ping-pong and foosball tables and a large gymnastics area. There’s even a lake where you can take a scenic walk around.
But the home isn’t just a paradise for the people in your family. It’s also a paradise for your dog, with a fenced-in dog run and a short walk to a dog park.

The island was beautiful and worth a visit. I would recommend renting on the beach proper. The house we rented was approx 1 1/2 miles from the closest beach which was South beach. There is very limited parking at South Beach. It started the day fairly stressful when you spent 1/2 + searching for a parking spot. One morning we gave up, dropped the ladies and beach chairs at the beach entrance and drove back to the rental to grab an Uber. When the people joke about "Marco midnight" they mean it. The world pretty much shuts down around 10:00 pm. We ventured out a few days to the Everglades and to Naples. The Everglades are worth a visit to see and Naples is pretty but extremely busy. We are visiting different areas looking for a good fit for us for a place for retirement. We are glad we visited but Marco and Naples will probably not be a good fit for us.
Really close to a great park

The pool was lovely and warm, the location near the park was perfect for dog walking and the children’s area was fantastic. You could walk to the beach which is beautiful. The house needed some maintenance a lot of small things that picky people like me notice.

House was very clean & well furnished. It does need some minor repairs/updating. The gate/fence on dog run was bent or broken & our dog got out. But overall it was a great place! Nice neighborhood..good location!

Property description was accurate. However, picture shows it’s on water, but there was no place to tie up a boat. House was clean but not well maintained. One kitchen cabinet did not close, the grill did not light on left side of grate, slats were missing from blind on patio door, blind in master bathroom was way too long and could not be adjusted properly. We had to call property management
out to fix garage door opener and grill, and company rep responded same day. Park across the street is awesome.

We chose 1268 Balboa for its proximity to family in the neighborhood, but ended up thoroughly enjoying the home. It's freshly and comfortably furnished, and very generously equipped - linens, kitchenware, beach and pool gear, bikes, baby gear, and connectivity are all there and quite nice. Management was really accommodating and responsive to any issue or question that came up. This house is in such a great neighborhood, esp for families. It's away from the trafficky north area of the island, a one block walk to Mackle Park (great for young and old) and the public library, and just 1.5 miles to the beach access (walkable or bikable, too) and to the nearest Publix.

It is a perfect place to stay if you have dogs. The rooms were spacious and the pool and lanai area were comfortable with great channel views. The furniture was very comfortable . The home was located in a quiet location but still close to all the islands amenities. I would highly recommend this home.

There aren't enough words to truly describe our overall experience with our vacation. The property far exceeded out expectations. The locations was perfect, only a few miles from the beach, coffee, restaurants and even unique shopping locations were within a walk or short drives distance. The home had so many extras that were unexpected, from the bikes, to beach chairs to needle and thread in case of emergencies. The board games, the lounge chair by the bay, the easy access to pool, all the extras made such an impact. We look forward to booking our next getaway very soon!

We spent 7 weeks at this property, and it was everything that we hoped for! The owners were very accommodating of special requests, and the property was clean with any amenity you could ask for! Would definitely stay at this property again!
